Haunted by Tessa Buckley – A #BlogTour Review for #RachelsRandomResources @rararesources #Haunted #MiddleGradeFiction #TheEyeSpySeries #Mystery

Tessa Buckley’s newest novel, Haunted, is a delightful mystery for middle-grade students. This book is the second in the Eye Spy series. Tessa’s story had me all in a dither. I kept guessing who the culprit was yet didn’t figure it out until close to the end. My hunches failed me with this one.

Nine Lives by Kevin McManus – A #BlogTour Review for #ZooloosBookTours @bassbreeze @SpellBoundBks @zooloo2008 #NineLives #SpellBoundBooks #CrimeThriller #RayLogue

The second book of the Ray Logue series, Nine Lives, is a crime reader’s dream. Kevin McManus offers an excellent follow-up to Death Rains Down. If anything, this novel is even better. I will never figure out how McManus fits so much adrenaline-filled magic in such a short volume.

I adore Harlequin Historical novels. They never disappoint. The Housekeeper of Thornhallow Hall by Lotte James is the latest in their lineup. This novel was everything I could have wanted in a historical romance. Lotte James wrote a heartwarming tale.
